Dear Friends and Families of Beth Shir Shalom,

The Days of Awe will soon be upon us! Rosh Hashanah begins on the evening of Friday, September 15th, and ends with Neilah on Monday, September 25th. Rabbi Alex Kress & Cantorial Soloist Jessica Jacobs will lead our High Holy Days services. Joining Rabbi Alex & Jessica will be Rabbi Emeritus Neil Comess-Daniels and our community musicians. It will be reflective, musical, and truly Awesome.

Enclosed, please find our High Holy Days Schedule and Ticket Request Form. Remember, your family’s BSS membership already includes tickets for each adult and each child. Please complete the Ticket Request form and return it to the temple office to receive these tickets.

Temple members may purchase additional tickets at the special member rate of $250 for adults and $100 for guests 22 and under. Non-members may purchase tickets for $300 per adult or $150 for individuals 30 and under (each ticket includes all services). If you are not yet a member and would like to join, the cost of your tickets will be applied toward your membership pledge when you join! And please remember to note on the form the names and contact information of anyone you’re bringing.

Creating such inspiring High Holy Days events takes months of planning and preparation. Show your appreciation for that hard work and the simple joy of experiencing the Awe together by sponsoring any of the categories listed on the back of this letter. Your contributions will help defray the considerable cost of the rental, equipment, and outside expertise required to prepare and transmit these services.

We look forward to welcoming 5784 as a community and sharing these reflective, musical, awesome experiences together.
